Downloading / Installing IamBigBrother

Q: I was unable to download IamBigBrother fully or I lost my connection. How can I download the registered version of IamBigBrother again?
A: Contact us immediately by using our support page. Please include all of your information so your order can be validated and get you a new download link immediately.

Q: If I am using the demo of IamBigBrother or upgrading to a newer version of IamBigBrother, what about the current version running?
A: Just install the newer version over the older version and restart your computer when it is complete.

Q: How do I un-install IamBigBrother from my computer?
A: Access IamBigBrother through the CPanel program and click the Setup button. Next, select the Add/Remove From Windows button and select to uninstall it from Windows. Restart your computer.

Access / Setup IamBigBrother

Q: After I have IamBigBrother installed, how do I access it?
A: Click Programs / Run and enter CPS. Click OK. At the login window enter "iambigbrother" as the default password.

Q: How do I change settings such as screen captures, keywords, etc.?
A: Click the Setup button under the calendar. Then select what you want to setup by clicking one of the links on the left side of the window. When all changes are made, be sure to restart your computer.

Q: When I try to login to IamBigBrother it says my password is wrong. How can I fix this?
A: Install the full version of IamBigBrother IamBigBrother again. The password will be reset back to the default of "iambigbrother".

Recording / Viewing Activity

Q: How long is the activity saved on my computer for viewing?
A: It will be saved for 90 days. After that it is automatically deleted.

Q: Can I save the captured activity to my computer as a file?
A: Yes. On all screens where activity is viewed there is a Save button. Click this button and enter the path and filename to save it as. Then use any editor to view the file. It is saved as a text file.

Q: Can I print the captured activity without using the Print Screen button?
A: Yes. On all screens where activity is viewed there is a Print button.

Q: IamBigBrother is not capturing activity from one of my programs.
A: First make sure you have the latest version of IamBigBrother installed on your computer. If you do, check the program you are monitoring to see if it is the latest version. We generally support the latest versions of software such as AIM, Yahoo Messenger, etc. Next, check to make sure IamBigBrother is turned on and monitoring. It shows this at the bottom of CPS. If it is off and does not come on again after restarting Windows, click Setup and select to add it to Windows again. If still not on, re-install the full version you downloaded.

Q: Can I receive copies of the captured activity by email?
A: Currently IamBigBrother offers a way to view all captured activity using any computer with web access. This is done by signing up for the remote service.

Q: I have started using IamBigBrother Remote and I do not see any activity online. Why?
A: First, make sure the remote service is turned on in CPS. Also make sure the serial number was entered correctly. You can click the Verify Serial button in CPS.

Q: How long is the captured activity available online?
A: It will remain online to be viewed for 25 days before it is automatically deleted.

Q: Can I save the activity I am viewing online?
A: Yes. You can copy/paste it to another program such as Notepad. Or you can use the Print button in your web browser.
